how do you write and pitch a pilot show?

What are the steps and do you know any websites that have legit sample sciprts and screenplays?

1 - you have to complete it and it has to be really good

2 - find ANY small production company who is willing to put up enough $$$ to produce the finished product (the pilot)

3 - THEN you try to get an appointment with a decision makered executive at a major studio. They ONLY want to look at the finished product or a real good demo production. They will not read a script. They want to see a reasonable representation of what you have created so they can imagine it on TV and see it as sellable for advertisers.

Write two. Get an agent, they are in the phone book or can be found on the net. Give away the first one to the agent, if it flies then Your second one will make You some dough. Don't tell the agent You have a second screenplay written. That's it Kid. Oh, I like to write with a HB number two pencil, that way if I get good ideas in the night I don't have to worry about being upside down when I write it down. Good luck Pup.
