Ok.
So i have downloaded both demos for this game, the online and the offline.
I was going to buy it, as soon as i got paid as i enjoyed them both.
But i have some people on my friends list telling me not to get it.
Can any one advise me on whether or not it is worth me buying it?

I rented this game last weekend, and was glad I didn't buy it. The single player campaign was fun, but I beat it on normal and easy over the weekend with time to spare. The graphics are pretty good, and the gameplay is alright. The bosses are cool because it's like an old school video game boss - they're hard to take down, and usually there's some vulnerability or weakness.
I thought online was ok, but frustrating after a while. All the gameplay types eventually become a dash for the biggest weapon because once you've got it, you're hard to take down.
And the story, it was awful. Truly truly awful. The dialog was painful. If you rent this, skip through the cut scenes.

I have played the games at a friends house and I can say I like the solo game play alot. But when I played online it was horrible and just really bad...but thats just me. If there is another game out that you want more then take it only get if you have the extra money.

Rent it, it took me an evening to finish it on normal difficulty, im an average gamer. get fear or gears of war or rainbow six vagas if you want a new shooter.
Honestly its now that good! the story line is awful too.
Just rent it or wait till its on ebay i imagine it will be soon, im mmay sell my copy for £10.00's

seriously m8, this game is a must buy
number 1 in charts, amazing gameplay, just like gears of war
missions are that long it takes like an hour to complete one mission the game is amazing, one of the best ive bought
