Wht would be the theme for this poem?
Also i have to make a powerpoint on this poem and i dont know wht kind of pictures or how i should animate it...plzz help

Does it matter?—losing your legs?...
For people will always be kind,
And you need not show that you mind
When the others come in after hunting
To gobble their muffins and eggs.

Does it matter ?—losing your sight?...
There's such splendid work for the blind;
And people will always be kind,
As you sit on the terrace remembering
And turning your face to the light.

Do they matter?—those dreams from the pit?...
You can drink and forget and be glad,
And people won't say that you're mad;
For they'll know you've fought for your country
And no one will worry a bit.

This is a nice poem about soldiers' losses and the effects on the individual long after the war is over.

Regardless of the reader's personal views of the current war, this author shows the soldiers to be tragic heroes. It descibes how they will be suffering for life for the greater good.

You can include your personal views by including pictures which demonstrate whether or not their fighting is in vain. For instance (just an example)..showing a live child or a dead child in the same soldier's arms would say alot about what you think of what is happening.

There are a million pictures out there (all sorts of emotions you can evince) that you can use to color your picture
Good Luck

Very Nice Poem. I think the theme is loss. Maybe you could have pictures of forgotten people. People in nursing homes. The homeless, little children, hookers on the streets, Animals that are roaming without homes. Anything that might be sad. And then maybe people that are happy going about their lives. People playing sports, birthday party's, happy children. Just use your imagination. Or maybe pictures of what you have in your poem exactly how you speak of them. Blind person turning to the light ect. Good Luck and again nice poem.
