I have just got call of duty 3 on the Xbox 360 and love using the multiplayer function. However, im really having trouble becoming connected to game sessions. Even when the connection quality is at 5 stars and there are few players in the game, i can very rarely connect. I have been creating my own games so far but they dont always take off and get many people involved. So, my question in a nutshell is how can i get onto the game sessions more efficiently?

For some reason, CoD3 is very sensitive to router settings. If you are using a router, make sure your NAT is open. Also check the game manual to see what ports should be opened. When I first got CoD3, I had the same problem you do. Even though my 360 was in the DMZ, I still had a very difficult time joining games. I did a little research and found out that I needed to open up my NAT settings and the proper ports. Now I can get into any match. Good luck.

dude if you really want a ww2 game try call of duty 5. You might have two wait a while but hey ,new game, good graphics and people will play online more than call of duty 3 or 2 so just wait a little while to get the best ww2 game on the market cause it's com'ng november 1st which is only several months from now so if you be patient things could reward you and hey this is a NEW CALL OF DUTY GAME so you'd be even more anticipated about it so i would really rcomend waiting because when the time comes you'll be real satisfied

For some reason it`s common that the COD3 multiplayer does this I myself have had a Lil trouble on occasions but fear not I believe there will be further up-dates to help with this problem...

As for the meaning of NAT it means Network Address Translation, this is found on the dash-bored but as my 360 ran away (repair shop) I can`t double check it for you.... Hope it goes well for you and good gaming.

when you join a room and it shows you have five stars or however many thats not really how many stars you have it always shows that from how your looking at it, what im saying is next time your on-line ask someone in the room (dont host) how many stars it shows for you. when im on-line it always show i have the best connection but everyone else is who really sees how good your connection is.
