I'm trying to think of something a little fun for my husband on Valentine's Day. We have two children and no childcare so discretion is always an issue. I was thinking of getting romantic/slightly erotic items to hide (and some little notes) for him to find (and not for the kids to find). Does anyone have any ideas? Nothing way too erotic - we're kind of boring (to some people's standard, anyway) in that department.

Thank you hot-story for a mature answer. I realized that I am leaving myself wide open for some lewd answers. We are mature adults who do not have kinky tastes. It is just the first time that I'm making any attempt at being a bit adventurous and fun while also being a parent.

You can start with a little note with a hint for him to find a small bottle of bubble bath, a hint of a bubble bath with him, it doesn't have to be one that the kids would think was out of place, then of course you could leave a small bottle of chocolate sauce your bathroom on the counter or massage oil with the towels. A garter is the sleeve of his shirt, or a pair of panties in his pants pocket, just to let him know that you are thinking about him. if you want more hints or ideas, you can write to me at hot_story_writer@yahoo.com

FRUIT................Hide fruit and tell him when he finds a piece of fruit, that he has to do something sexy, erotic with it on you or to himself and vice versa.
This is something you both can do while the kids are there. Like run into the bathroom together for a minute at a time or something. By the time the kids go to bed; it should be interesting in the bedroom.
