I think yes, his stats are comparible to Ray Lewis' at this point (Lewis has more picks) and he hasn't played as long as Lewis.

It's far too early, but he's well on his way.

He needs a full decade or more of durability and impact play. If he can keep the Pro Bowl honors coming, and lead his team to a Super Bowl in that window of time, he's a lock.

With the ROY, and DPoY honors in his young career, he's building a HOF resume for certain.

Yes. He is clearly the heart and soul of the Bears superb defense.

Furthermore, Urlacher has the discipline to maintain his high level of play for several more years to come. He indeed has the potential to be one of the greatest linebackers to ever play the game.

When he finally retires and waits the mandatory induction period, Urlacher might get in on his first try.

absolutely. I say the big HOF question is was he ever the best at his position for a season, and I would say he certainly was, moreso the 52.

No. Also voters aren't likely to put him in based on the short career in that aspect. If he stays at that level for a few more years he may get in.

Duh. No. You cannot even be elected to the hall until you have been retired for five years! Urlacher will be PLAYING on Sunday, so I think he has to wait at LEAST five years and three days.
