It depends, different tanks have different dimensions. Some are longer and some are higher... for example, I've seen a 100 gallon that was 6 feet long and 18" high (18" deep), and one that was 5 feet long and 22" high (18" deep).

Any tank that holds 100 gallons is 100 gallons, regardless of dimensions. If you want to calculate dimensions, do w x h x l (in feet) and multiply by 7.5.

The most common and cheapest because of the squared off dimensions is the 6' x 18" x 18". The other lengths are not common and therefore cost more.

It depends on which tank style you choose. There are many options that will change the dimensions of an aquarium. Best way to know is to find the one you want and measure it. Sorry!
