The part I don't get about the "n" word thing is that black people can say that word to each other all they want. And then they talk about white people all they want and will never get punished or noticed for it. Especially black comedians. How many times was the "n" word mentioned on The Original Kings of Comedy? And derogatory phrases for white people were used even more! Let one white person say something in a joking manner about a black person and the next day they are on TV making a public apology. I heard about a professor in NC who said blacks need to wipe out the enitre white race. Where my pulic apology for that comment? The scary part is, no one has really heard about this comment! Had a white person said something like that, he or she would probably be in prison for terrorist threats! It'll never end...

I think that black people dont realize the racist vibe they give off to whites. Like whats with the United ***** College Fund ?? If we had a United White College Fund the sh*t would hit the fan. And your right, what sense does it make to say the N word is such a bad word but the call each other that ? Its like they want everything and nothing all at the same time. Racism will never die and we should all just get used to it.

i totally got into an argument with one of the guys at school about using the N word and he said that it was ok for black people to say but not anyone else because thats what they are but i was it is such a derogitive word why would you want to call each other that and he was thats what they were taught...
i really dont think racism will ever die...the thought of not having it would be wonderful but the realitity is it will never happen...unfortunately...
but i think in a way that how we live now...we've become accustomed to having it around so we just dont want change...

Its silly...these days I think racism is more a form of ignorance or attentiongrabbing (in this case) or just jealousy...like the indian actress Shilpa Shetty being a target of so called racism but everyone can see she is so stunning even without makeup that the other women look like old dried up hags and so are jealous of her.

Racism will not die and it is the dumbest reason for arguing to me. No one can help the way they are born.
Don't know what Jamie Fox said.

I think that All of the above mentioned things are a product of how blacks and other minorities were treated in this country not to long ago.
However I do not think that things like BET or Black beauty pageants are good for society I believe they are Segregating blacks and are in and of themselves racist due their being defunct in our modern society.
Blacks do not need those things anymore.

It's unwise for anyone, even blacks, to use that word in a nonchalant manner. The word is degrading and offensive. He is very wrong. It is not a term of endearment, it is an insult. People have fooled themselves into believing that they can change the meaning and the hurt of that word. If it was cool, then Jamie wouldn't be mad it a white person said it to him.

Of course it won't die but your point about only black scholarships e.t.c that is not the coloured people's fault is it? It is what society has done to make it be this way. what with all the Toffs out there who still feel that coloured people should be slaves there the ones that need to be dealt with! Racism as sad as it is to say will never die there are too many pig headed people out there that can not see beyond the surface it makes me sick!!

Of course racism will never die because there are ignorant people everywhere. CENTURION. It may have been hundreds of years since blacks have been freed from slavery, but that doesn't mean that they have not been the victim of racism. When people are put down for years because of the color of their skin, of course they are going to be bitter.

His comment was racist. Only blacks (I was so tempted to use the N word there) can use it. So why do they get to make their own rules? F*uck it, I'm going to use it as long as Jamie (I think I am More talented than I really am) Fox does.
