The gays I met addressed each other as if they are girls. Is it because they feel like girls?

Or do they behave so because they (gays and females) both like/love males?

Many gay men will make light of the stereotypes thrown against them. If someone who's born a man feels like a woman, he's not a gay man; the person in question would be a transgender female; a heterosexual one if she likes men.

I am a gay male, and I feel like a man. Because that's what I am. I don't feel like a woman nor do I act like one. My boyfriend is masculine, and he doesn't act feminine in any way, shape, form, or manner. I think the gay men that say these things are trying to show off. If anyone ever called me girlfriend, they would find themselves on the floor.

No I feel like a gay male not a female. We just don't find any offense in being compared with females.

I can only speak from a lesbian's perspective. I am very much a woman and I feel like a woman. I do not refer to myself or my fellow lesbians as men, but my butch friends do. However, there are times I'm feeling my masculine side as well. I suppose this is the same for gay men, too. We all experience our masculine/feminine side at different degrees.

hahaha thats a funny question.....first off, I could be your best friend & you would not know I was gay, not all gay people are nelly queens, cut hair, drive a miatia, & give fashion advice. Hell my boy friend is a Pipe Fitter (he welds giant gas & water pipes together). So maybe you should ask your question to the 2 queens you meet instead of the whole gay population

I don't get it!
I'm gay...but first of all I'm a MAN!
I love being a man...
my boyfriend is a man and he considers himself as a man...
Why should I act like a girl?
Not all gays behave themselves like girls...

I am gay and I certainly don't address my gay friends as she or girlfriend.

Not all gay men are the same. I've no issue with those that do do that but it's just not my thing.
