Our constitution forbits us banning them...but the next best thing would be to cut off all federal funding - you have to wonder if they would be quite as zealous if they were not operating on taxpayer money!

No. Ever hear of the Constitution? How about the right to peaceably assemble? The KKK is clearly something I don't want to be a part of, but their right to peaceably assemble (peaceably being the key word there) should not be infringed upon. The same should be said about all of these groups that you mention, though if the ACLU disappeared tomorrow I wouldn't shed a tear, either.

Groups ban not in my country.
I may not like PETA or Freedom from Religion or any of what I consider liberal organizatioins.
Yet they do serve a purpose that people should be allow to form groups and speak freely in this country.
Just as important people should be able to protest them in kind.
That is what makes this country great. We start saying Freedom of Speech need to be regulated.
Liberals I hope as much as they hate Conservative Christians don't hate it to the point they want their Freedom of Speech silienced.
We may not like what people have to say but I will defend your right to say it.

The only group in the US that should be banned is the group of terrorist in Washington D.C. that calls its self Congress! and steals money from the citizens of it's own nation to fund a bunch of B.S. in other countries and line thier own pockets while children go hungry with two working parents!

They're part of the liberal agenda to separate people into classes and groups. I think people should be evaluated on their individual merits instead of what group they belong to. It's just so wrong dividing people this way. It promotes racism, sexism and all the other isms.
And look at how evil and corrupt the ACLU is, for example. That group should be completely disbanded. They use money collected from church donations and state/local taxes to sue for the removal of crosses from everywhere they can see. You don't have to be religious to see the wrongness of that.

No. It is a "representative" (Democratic) Republic. Therefore the representatives must be informed. And we know they don't listen to talk radio for information because if they did they would jump off the roof to atone their shame.

The only special interest groups that should be banned are those that break other existing law. Banning all groups would be a constitutional violation.

You don't seem to understand this issue very well. "Special interest group" is just a label given to groups of people working to make sure they have access to their rights already given to the majority groups.
Oh, and the ACLU isn't even a special interest group. It's an organization devoted to making sure, legally, that the consitution is obeyed.

They cannot really be banned, but politicians should not listen to them, like they do now.
The ACLU supports a group, NAMBLA, that encourages pedophilia. I find it a disgrace to our forefathers that our politicians actually take this organization seriously.
I am sure if, when they put free speech in the constitution, they would have put "except for molesting children" in there if they knew about it.

No they should not be banned. If you ban these groups you leave it open to ban groups such as the VFW, UAW, Italian American group, KKK, etc...etc...etc...
Now we certainly can work to limit their effects. But they have as much right as anyone else.

no, they should just be ignored. Banning the groups will just make another million groups that think they're doing some "righteous" thing.
