Who really cares what his opinion is? The thing that gets me about this he's trying to lump himself and McGwire in with Rose... HUH?!?!?! Rose bet on baseball, he didn't enhance his performance to improve his statistics and legacy as a player, BIG DIFFERENCE. Another pitiful Bondsy boy thing to do or say.. pathetic.

Of course he is going to say those things. He knows every well that he is in the same category as the people he mentioned. Whether Rose's situation is different of not it all comes out the same. THEY ALL CHEATED! You're right about one thing, it really is pathetic!

Well, it is a pre-emptive strike. Bonds knows this is his last year and he knows he will be eligible for consideration in 2013 and he also knows, that if baseball does not admit McGuire by then, or change the ban on Rose by then, that he will never get into Copperstown. The sad thing is the fact that Bond was Copperstown bound well before he started juicing. He had a brilliant career going. He would not have hit 71 homers or broken Hank's record, but his numbers would have still insured a shrine in Copperstown. Now, he will be black-balled and if baseball wants to untarnish their grimmy history as of late, they would boot Bonds and his bogus records from baseball.

Pete Rose is worse than either of them. He broke a rule that had been in existence for 80 years, then lied about it for over a decade.

I don't think any of them, but Rose isn't exactly Mr. Pious here. And you don't think the amphetamines he took before every game (greenies) enhanced his performance? Come on - take off the Rose-colored glasses.
