Status: False.
Origins: Rumor has it that before launching into his music and mayhem career, shock rocker Marilyn Manson played Kevin Arnold's sidekick, the geeky-but-lovable Paul Pfeiffer, on the popular TV series The Wonder Years.
Nope, not even close. Kevin's sidekick Paul was played by Josh Saviano. As for Marilyn Manson, his real name is Brian Warner.

I remember in about 1995 or 1996, I was listening to Seattle radio station 107.7 the end. The DJ made a comment after 'The Beautiful People' played as it was ruling the radio and MTV at the time. The DJ said, "I think I have it figured out, I think Marilyn Manson is Paul from the wonder years. "
I have always wondered if that's how this rumor got started.
In his autobiography, The Long Hard Road Out of Hell, he said: "If I'd really gotten my ribs removed, I would have been busy sucking my own dick on The Wonder Years instead of chasing Winnie Cooper. Nope, Marilyn Manson is actually Brian Warner. He is not Paul from the Wonder Years, that's an urban legend. Josh Saviano played Paul, and he looks nothing like Marilyn Manson- google it.

Sadly, no he is not. Although they are spitting images of one another, that is true. In any event Marylin is a chump because he is only wearing a contact lens, and is not a TRUE partial ocular albino like David Bowie.

I think he is...I bet some actors have multiple personas that they shift from...from time to time. Lady Gaga was a small time actress on Mtv's reality tv show before she turned into a songstress.
