How can you tell when somebody is Jealous of you?

The best way to tell when someone is a "HATER" is by the way they react to you. Someone that is jealous of who you are will most likely try to do all in their power to belittle your name. They will find everything they can to make you look bad and bad mouth everything about you. This is their way of trying to make themselves look like they are a better person than you are and they try to make people like them more than they like you. Some one who just does not like you will normally not really give a hoot about the things you do, say, wear or anything else about you.

Usually they let you know by comparing themselves to you. Or they abruptly change how they treat you such as from long conversations to barely looking you in the eye. You may also catch them 'rolling' their eyes and/or staring. You may hear rumors (but I wouldn't act on them due to haters trying to see fights). Honestly, jealous people should be treated as if you don't even recognize their feelings because they tend to feel threatened and take things farther because they most likely will never admit they ARE jealous. Speak to the person as before but watch your back and watch what you reveal to them -no more secrets or talking about others to them- they are waiting for that to destroy you with in order to get others on their side. Stay sweet and they power will remain the same as it is now -powerless. Jealousy proves that you have something WORTH being jealous of, all this drama may have been given to you to make you tell the Lord "thank you for blessing me". What do you think? Well thats just a lil hard but most the time when someones jelous of you it might be because they dont have what you have. Most time you can tell by annoying u or just like yeh thats kool. Its not a good thing to have people jelous of you. You need to ask the person if they are and if they are ask them why it might just because they dont have people that love them as much as u do and they just need some advice. talk to them maybe you can help someone out by doing this and change someones life around. u never know

Sometimes yes. Like for example, you finished some work for your job. Other people come over and kindly give some tips to make it better, but say it's great already. One guy comes over, and bashes your work, says you did a great job, but at the same time says it's all wrong in a harsh manner. And when you try to be logical with him about how to fix the work, he dismisses what you say and simply says, "it's all wrong, do it my way", and darts out of your cubical. Kind of jealous to me it would seem. What else would be the reason for that attitude, while everyone else is being open and logical about your work?

It's weird how some people are. Some people show it by being WAY TO NICE TO YOU. Or when they compete with you and or treat you like crap! Trust me you will know.
