I have lived in Arizona for almost my whole life. you are really looking to move to the right place for opportunity. There are many food service jobs and very diverse in terms of the type of restaurants. If you know your stuff and are looking for high end opportunities, may I suggest looking for employment in north Scottsdale, very upper class and if you have the desire and the schooling you can even touch 6 figures in your career if you find the right opportunity,

There are many styles of cooking to choose from including Mexican,Mexicali, Italian, southwest, Chinese, Greek to exclusive resorts and spas that are always looking for talent. Also you can contact the Arizona chamber of commerce and get a list of restaurants and an idea of the social climate in phoenix and surrounding areas. Best of luck...

Arizona is one of the fastest growing states in the country. Although I dont know the condition of food services, wherever there are people, there is demand for restaurants. So, a large number of people coming in, I can only imagine there is a thriving food service industry growing up with that.
