Look up the formula for lead acetate and the ionic charge of Zn on google search.....

Thhis is a single-replacement reaction since there is one ionic compound (led acetate) and one solid metal. Single-replacement means that zinc will trade places with the lead. Use oxidation numbers to determine charge of each atom...redox equations show electron transfer.

See some examples at http://www.shodor.org/UNChem/advanced/redox/index.html

Good luck! Remember, Chem is try.
