In science fiction, "total immersion video games" are a type of virtual reality game where a player experiences all five senses, but is really encased in a tactile suit or in a VR chamber that allows the experience to seem real. Is anyone actually working on such technology, or is this just a nice fantasy?

I saw one thing that brought total immersion games closer to reality. It's called the VirtuaSphere, your in a giant hamster ball that's stuck in the floor with wheels around it. You actually have to physically run around in the game. You are wearing a visor to see what's going on, and their are speakers all around the inside of the cage giving true 3d sound. You also have a hand held fun control, it looked really cool. It's ironic because in order to play their demo game well, you really had to be in shape or else you'd get too tired.

i believe that the religious international is the genuine international. This actual international is a digital truth sport. not something actual will very last very lengthy. religious issues very last continuously. that's why religious concerns are so a lot more desirable major that actual concerns. we will be alive 1000's of years from now. Who cares what type of automobile or domicile you've once you're in this temporary international.

They are working on it. Be afraid, very afraid. The bandwidth needed is already worked out. Not sure about the "nice fantasy" part.

Existentialists will have a ball when that thing hits the market.
