Spain is a big country and has a lot more to offer visitors than its beaches. Try going inland to some of the many beautiful cities or for a walking holiday in the mountains (lots to choose from).
It all depends on what you fancy doing other than lying on a beach.
Such a varied country - it would be a shame to write it off just because you want a change from the beach scene.
Hope you find a good place.

Cape Town South Africa!

Get a cheap return flight £350 to £450 from the UK and once you get there it is very cheap to live. Stay on a wine farm for about £100 per week B&B. Eat and drink like Kings for for very little in some of the best restaurants anywhere. Take a trip up table mountain, go to Hermanus and watch the whales from the beach...............so much to do and its beautiful! Best place in the world to visit!

Alaska - i loved the place was warm sunny in July, weather was beautiful and believe me 15mins of darkness a day is really cool and a little wierd. Great food especially if you like fish, cant beat seeing bears fishing on the beach and icebergs dropping off the glaciers and firing up into the sky out of the water. Amazing place with loads to see and really friendly locals.
