American Idol ... what do people think of the contestants telling Simon Cowell to go back to England?

That Simon guy is a total jerk! Yea he should go back to England! He gets pleasure of making people feels horrible about them selfs!

They're just bitter cause they didn't get chosen to go on to Hollywood.
I think they (the contestants that say remarks like these) make a bigger fool out of themselves by insulting Simon and the other judges and also by begging to have another chance! So pathetic! If you suck, you suck. Plain and simple. It's not Simons fault!

My fav Simon remark Tues night was at the girl who auditioned last. (The scary looking girl w/way too much eye makeup, a black dress and who said she was the biggest fan so she should win) When she kept begging for another chance and wouldn't take no for an answer Simon simply said "Leave" Hilarious!

I think they're just really steamed at the time because at the end of the season the ones who come are all nice to all the judges. I don't like hearing it very much though because Simon's harsh (sometimes funny) remarks bring a lot to the show especially during the auditions part. Like that thing he said about that guy last night looking like a bush baby!

A.I. is a big scam. A radio show did a "trick" on A.I. They wanted to see how people actually get on tv. Well, they took one of the ladies from the office, gave her the crappiest outfit they could find, told her to sing like s**t, and then throw a tantrum when she didn't make it. (This was a previous Idol, not this years) Anyways, she made it onto the audition shows! They just show the absolute worst people they can find so they get ratings. And lots of people who go on the auditions KNOW they can't sing! It is all an act just to get on tv for a few minutes! Just like Jerry Springer with the fake fights!! Also last year the lines were rigged! You would call for one person and it would send your vote to Taylor Hicks..... ? Big scam if you ask me!

He's the only reason that show is a success. People tune in because he is the perfect villain. Without him, the show is nothing.

And, the contestants he disses are too stupid to even realize that he's doing them a huge favor by not giving them false hopes.

It got them on TV, didn't it? He is pompus and annoying but he DOES know what he is talking about. I don't think being from England has a whole lot to do with it. I will be so glad when the actual competiton starts. I am already tired of the "bad" auditions. Are some of these people for real?

I think Simon is losing his edge. In the beginning when he was new, he got so much news for being rude, but now people expect it. He has to do something really bad again to get more in the news.

They just say that because they are upset and their egos have been bruised. I like Simon- he tells the truth and sometimes people don't know how to handle the truth! My question is, how do parents let their children go on the show KNOWING that they sound like a whale gargling?!?

i think that some of them should shut up and get singing lessons. but what people don't get is simon has to watch like thousands of people audition and if you were him i think you would get irritated with some of the contestants. Some of them think they can sing and give him B.S. and he had a long day you know.
