My grandfather was diagnosed with Asbestos Cancer back in Sept, can anyone tell me alittle more about it and the stages a person that has it goes through, My grandfather was a very strong active and healthy man who toud think never fall ill, but over the last couple of months he has gotten real skinny, moves around slowly and has sores that bleed (by the way why would that be). I hate to see my grandfather like this he raised me and Im close, I like to get educated on this horrible form of cancer and what I can do to comfort him. Thanks for your response

you can search for asbestos cancer on line and find out all you want to on that but let me ask you this: did he get that from employment and has he seen an attorney - He may be able to sue for enough money to make life a little more comfortable.
as far as the bleeding, where are the sores? If they are on his back or buttocks, it could be a form of bed sores from pressure on his body in those areas that are bleeding and you may be able to get some type of cushion from a health store that would help with that. There is a new drug to fight cancer used in other countries, lp6 and you could perhaps try getting some of that to fight the cancer but there isn't a lot of research in humans using it although it has been shown to fight cancer in mice so human experiments will probably begin soon. you can search for lp6 on line and read more about it and where to get it. Myself, were I in his situation I would try it since there is nothing to lose.
wish I could give you some good news about that but that particular form of cancer is pretty serious and I don't think there is a lot medicine has learned to do about that. you and your grandfather have my prayers!!

he is from that era, either world war 2 shock or asbestos, which was a great insulator but was has many tiny tight fibers that break with age, and floated around and got breathed in, he may be able to sue, I see ads for lawyers looking for people, the government finally outlawed it,
