Opinion 1:
Why is it that the majority of world leaders thought that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and urged us to enter the war, and we wonder we invaded? I personally disagree with the war, then and now, we invaded without a plan and now we are stuck. I rarely agree with the actions of George W. Bush, but he was pressured into it and I can understand why we invaded, its just that fact to we went immensely under prepared and with out a plan that makes me angry.

Opinion 2: Why is it that when I don't agree with the war, people automatically assume that I don't support the troops? I am so proud of those men and women for what they do.

Bless the troops! Bless our beautiful country!

1. The majority of world leaders were given their information by the United States. They look to us for what is right, what is true and what is best. That's why, when we have an irresponsible maniac like George W. Bush in the Oval Office, it's particularly dangerous. The right wing likes to screech about the fact that Democrats "voted for the war," but what they enjoy leaving out of that fairy tale is the fact that the Democrats were acting on information that was given to them by the President. They trusted him. Foolish? Maybe. But you're supposed to trust that the President of the United States doesn't have a personal agenda and is acting in the best interest of the American people. And no one has yet been able to explain to me how the war in Iraq is in the best interest of the American people. Not how it MIGHT benefit us, but how it is in our BEST interest.

2. Because they're closed-minded, and they assume that if you're patriotic, that means you blindly agree with every action committed by your government.

War is never the answer to your problems! My opinion on the war in Iraq is just a waste of money! I'm an American and America and other countries are getting broke everyday because of the war. I just hope President Obama could the American troops of the Middle East!

IMO supporting the troops means that you support the commander in chief. I may not think every move he makes is the greatest but I am behind his effort. If you sit around talking about the commander in chief as if he is committing crimes in the war then you are hurting the moral of the troops he commands and playing into the propaganda war of the enemy. You have a right to disagree with the president but there is a way to express that without laying blame and passing judgment in a public way, vote to express your displeasure and if your candidate looses suck it up. This is a democracy and the majority rules. As for the WMDs I don't think that all the worlds Intel was wrong. Saddam managed to hide the weapons in the desert or border countries.

The way I see it is that Bush called the war, but I agreed he was pressured into it also. If we would've started with a plan, this would be a lot easier, I agree.
About question 2, it does seem that way doesn't it? I am proud of the troops too.

The war is very important to the world. It is imperative we win. Peace at all costs Liberals always get you in trouble. 911 happened because Clinton was weak on terrorist's. He was only worried about opinion polls. Bush could care less . He does what is right.

Well if your lack of support of the war voted in the democrat party which will cut off funding for said troops, you can understand how we think that now don't you? Simple logic my friend, just simple logic.

I am with you 100%. I support the men and women who fight for our country, but not the poor decisions made by our politicians that sent them there. People want to confuse the two, but it is only beacuse they can't come up with a good defense for the war, so they try to shift the focus to you.
