...can be considered archival quality?

I'm looking for some fabric/material I can wrap around some precious items (which include clothing) to protect them from changing colours from acids as things age.... Any good ideas???
I'm having a difficult time finding archival quality storage containers locally (& large enough).... I thought if I used some material it would offer some protection at least.

I've tried googling it and other searches but maybe I'm not typing the correct search... I could really use some great ideas!

Your sincere answers are truly appreciated!

You can buy acid-free paper that resembles kraft paper from Uline: www.uline.com
Wrap the items in the paper, then into a sealed bag, if possible.
Use of a dessiccant is advised, also. (You can get them at Uline, also.)
Vacuum the bag down to remove as much air (and moisture) as possible.
If you make this 'inner pack' as directed, you could store your items in a plastic tote from Wal-Mart and they'll last forever.

Space saver bags you hook them up to a vacuum and seal them, things don't age nearly as much with out air that's why caned food stays good for sooo long
