what do you think about racism?

Question

why are some ppl stil racist after all of this racist stuff has been sorted out.
not only white but black ppl r still racist..WHY? WAT"S THE POINT?
and whose fault was it that all of this started?
(answer in you own opinion plz and feel free to express yourself)
(i dnot mean to judge ppl and not taking this out on anyone)

Racism still exists for the same reason sexism does. Woman were discriminated against in the past. Apparently feminists haven't learned from mistake men made, so now they're repeating it today by being sexist against men. Today's day and age is basically one big pay-back-revenge session for all who was wronged in the past, and it's ridiculous and childish. These are suppose to be adults. Riiiight.

The sad thing is, many women feel that it's okay to discriminate against men by feeling that since it happened to their mothers and grandmothers, they're justicied. Then they deny they're even being sexist just like the men did in the past. Black people who are racists feel the same way, then deny being racist. Some gays and bi's are the same as well, with bosses who are gay who discriminate against straights at work who have the same pay-back-revenge mentality. But then say "how could a gay person discriminate, we're the victims?"

And on top of that, some men are still sexist, some whites are still racist, and some straights are still against gays/bi's.

Dsicrimination continues because of pure stupidity and illogical emotions.

I think it will always exist. There is even racism among your own race when you think about it. If I don't like someone, it is not because of race. There are black people that I cannot stand. They have poor grammar and literally think the white people owe them something. Its because their parents still hold a grudge. Some need to let go of the past and maybe things could be better for them. My son and his friends are the coolest group of kids I know. 3 blacks, 2 whites and 1 from el salvador(he speaks english). They all get along great and are at the house all the time. Its all in how you are raised. I personally think racism sucks.

Racism is one of mankinds worst evils. Why should some groups of people be worth more than others? Some accept that all men and women are equal, others don't. May be they lack self confidence, as one of the worst racist, Adolf Hitler, did.

This is usually looked at backwards.

People tend to be closer to those that are most like them.

So most of their time is spent in this circle.

Race is just an easy way to tell people apart.

Where you have a sharp difference in people (Color, power, religion etc) it is usually divided along the lines of the haves and the have not.

I think that it is a word that is way overused. If someone of one race does something another doesn't like (i.e. not hire them) some automatically assume it's because of racism. The upshot of my opinion is that it will only have a chance at ending when it ceases to be used as an excuse.

Its sad but true. To dislike or stay with your own kind, to not trust because they are different, to see others suffer and not care, to find yourself thinking I am better then them is all a part of the imperfect human nature.

it hasn't been sorted out .. as long as people continue to be ignorant and hateful, racism will continue to flourish. it's all really sad.
