I always create my own custom class at the beginning. I switch it up my concentration depending on the mood I'm in (magic, stealth or combat) but I always choose blade, security and acrobatics as major skills. I usually take destructive and alteration magic as majors too. Race doesn't matter much, since the benefits are usually not that great, but the elven races tend to have some magic abilities that are nice. The Tower is a good sign since it gives you a 50 point open lock right from the start.
On PC, you have cool mods and can cheat your stats/skills if you need to, but the x360 version only has the utterly useless "Achievements". Check Gamespot for the codes.

I am a rogue. I have a dagger and a bow. I almost never used the dagger though but it was always good to have it with some poison on it.

But being I master rogue in the game I think was kind of cheap. Almost nothing could see me so the game was fairly easy.

And we have done lots of little quests but haven't started the main quest yet (Level 39) becuase we wanted to know what we were doing before we started. and there is so much more to this game if you look! We do have the book to go with this but only use it to find quests not to wealk us thrugh them. Well worth it to get your money's worth out of the game. Oh and we are on pc version which seems to be rated alot higher!
