You're going to get these conspiracy theories about anything and everything.
Think for yourself. If it really makes no sense then it's usually untrue. There are hints that "intelligence sources" knew of a plot to attack America and it wasn't the first time the WTC had been targeted but the White House didn't have any information that a handful of radical uneducated bozos were going to hijack planes and fly them into buildings.
I bet if someone told you or me that something as far fetched as that was going to happen, we'd start comparing them to Chicken Little. I mean, why the heck would he let this happen and cause his administration untold strategic and political headaches.
The poor guy is doing the best he can for the country. Maybe he messes up once in a while and when he does the press is all over it. I can't imagine trying to do my job with that amount of scrutiny happening. He's got more moxie than I will ever have.

I suggest you read Project for new American century....it was part of their plan. one only needs to look at Bush for the first 7 minutes after Andy Card whispered in his ear to know his response was not normal. Someone should have told him he was reading a book upside down. That might have helped fool more people longer.

the proof everybody keeps harping on is facts buried in a huge pile of intel that wasnt seen or evaluated in time....if they had of waited 3 more months maybe it would have been acted on...only after it happened did the agencies know what to look for....people are just looking for something to blame on Bush.....

Bush lifted surveillance on several key figures in the US that had direct ties to terrorist cells within 2 months of officially taking office. He said that they weren't an issue, and that the personnel watching them would be better served working elsewhere.
He also allowed Osama to be treated at a US run military hospital in July of 2001 (he was there for 4 days) without security or surveillance. Bush, despite later claims to the contrary, had no problem with Osama, and "didn't consider him a threat" (AUG 2001)
