Dude you need to take a chill pill. Don't give anybody a ring right now. Go read a self help book instead.

NO, NO. NO. How would u feel if she gave u a ring and u found out she had at first given it to some other man she loved? If I were your girlfriend I would not like that. I would want a ring that was all my own. If u want this new girt to marry u don't do this cause if she finds out then she may get very angry and break it off with u. Sell the ring and get a new one. Just pick out something different and have I Love You put in it. U will be glad u did.

Yes, that would be wrong, for many reasons. First of all... Let me get something straight. You were ready to marry someone 3 days ago, and now you are ready to marry someone else? Are you on a frenzied hunt for a wife? You need to take wayyyyyyyy more time, dude. Seriously, this situation just reaks of disaster.
That aside, I would highly advise you not to recycle the ring, even in the future. Seeing as how you bought the ring 3 days ago, see if it's possible to return it and get your money back. If they can't take it back because it's inscribed... If it has any diamonds in it, you might be able to trade the diamonds in the future to get a discount on another ring.
Another option - auction it off, put it on Ebay.

Wait, wait. You bought an engagement ring three days ago for one woman, now 72 hours later you love someone else?
The question isn't whether or not to give this second woman that ring, the question is what's your problem? You cannot possibly love someone after three days. Like the first guy said, chill out. You're not in love. But needing to be "in love" all the time is a huge problem. You need professional help with that.

You already love someone else 3 days after your fiance broke it off? No wonder she left you.
Sounds like you don't know how to be alone. Also, it is never ok to recycle gifts, especially something inscribed with I Love You. Imagine what the new girlfriend would think if she found out!!! She would likely give it back for you to pass it along to the next girl you fell in "love" with.

Dear Chris,
If the ring looks at all used, or if your current gf knows your past gf, you could get yourself in a lot of trouble. My suggestion is that you take the ring to a jeweler and have the setting (the actual ring part) redone with the old stones for your new love. It is cost effective and you won't find yourself in trouble in the future.
One other thing, don't be in a hurry. If this is "the one," you have all the rest of your life. Enjoy every stage of the romance - you can't go back.
Good luck. :)

I have been the recieve end of the "regifted" ring. It was intended for someone else THOUGH she didn't wear it long. I accepted with the promise of MY OWN ring. I wore a ring of his mothers until we got married and I GOT my OWN band. I would rather not wear a used ring unless was IN THE FAMILY type ring.
RETURN IT EXCHANGE IT DON'T GIVE IT. and don't rush from one to the next.

dude do u want to be smacked in the u know what. I don think any girl would like a ring that the man she loves bought for another girl he once loved. Its hurtful. It would remind her everyday. I think u should trade that one in and put it toward a new one for this girl. I mean come on is she not as special as the girl before to get u to give her her own. that was meant for her. coming form u. come on. I'd think three times b4 u even consider doing that.

So so wrong. You should probably take some time before asking this girl to marry you, but when you do, give her a ring that isn't tainted. She would be very hurt if she knew.

WRONG!!!! Different girl, different ring. Giving a girl a ring that was meant for a different girl is just tacky.
