Kate Spade has some nice things, you should be able to get a basic black bag for around that cost. Go to your favorite department store and cruise the racks...there are some good, lesser-known designer brands that are durable and very nice.
I buy most of my "designer" bags (Coach is my favorite) on Ebay but make sure to do your research so you get an authentic item. Ebay has a lot of fakes, but there are also LOTS of authentic items too!
The first poster noted to try Chanel....but I doubt you could get a new one for that price unless you got lucky.
PS: A friend gave me a HOBO International bag bought at Parisian (Dept store) a few years ago. Retail was about $150 but it's a black leather medium-sized tote bag with red interior....very nice. I used it about every day for a while there, it was my favorite. It's held up well over the years considering how much I used it. This one was given to me, but I'd definitely buy another one.

Unless it's all about the name brand for you, go to Macy's and just shop through their purses. I used to work in the handbag department at Macy's and they have plenty of bags in the price range that you're looking for, just may not be a name brand that you like. If you are a handbag collector, then you already know that Coach & Dooney and Bourke are the lower line of higher line handbags, and for name brands that are just as well known you are going to be spending more the $200.00.

Shop ebay you might be surprised. Get out the seller feedback to make sure they aren't selling fakes. Some small designers only sell there. I like going with the little guys because there is less chance my girls friend have the same purse and I always get more compliments on it.

Look on Ebay. Make sure to check the sellers' feedback ratings to make sure they are selling authentic bags. You'll have to put in a little effort to get them < $200, but here are a few suggestions:
Fendi
Marc Jacobs
Juicy Couture
Prada
Isabella Fiore
BCBG
Balenciaga
Judith Leiber
Mulberry

i think of while you're prepared to pay slightly extra for stylish, sophistication and charm then you truly might desire to get the coach handbag. A coach handbag is extra stylish and extra mature. i think of the coach handbag is going great as a fashion accessory to your cloth wardrobe. additionally the coach handbag gets extra observed by human beings and stands out. I actual have a small coach handbag too and while human beings word they supply me compliments on it.

You can get your very own designer bag from http://urlx.org/directtrack.com/6809f for free. All you have to do is fill out the survey. My girlfriend got her bag from that site and all she had to do was choose the bag she wanted and enter in her email address.
