There is various you can take NVQ 1 or 2 Childcare (I'm currently taking level2) I think Surestart may do some courses visit you local college and enquire your local council should offer funding for Childcare NVQs. Dont believe anyone thats done the course and tells you its easy they are lying. I was doing voluntary work at a Pre-school they all recommended I did NVQ2 to me saying its is easy... I've never been more stressed in my life.

Contact your local college as there are several childcare qualifications on the go. Each offers its own level of employment at the end of the course and a lot of them are either part time or day release or evening classes. Ask around local nurseries too. The better qualified you are the better the pay as its not a well paid sector to work in.
