Iturbide was the one who finished the independence movement, he was the one to convince Guerrero to yield, then why isn't he treated as a hero?

Probably because he managed to fight on both sides during Mexico's War of Independence, and because he hijacked the Independence for his own imperialist ambitions (eg. crowning himself Emperor Agustin).

He was in it for himself - not for his country, that's why he isn't recognised as a hero.
