It means nothing really.
Dooms day is the end of time, or what ever. It's not going to happen in our time. People always think the end is neigh and they are always wrong.

The actual date is not predicted, but, as of now it is five minutes before twelve. After 9/11 it was 7 minutes to 12. Just to let us know the world is in a sorry state .

no one knows that. It has changed like 18 times since 1945 back and fourth. Like in the height of the cold war, it was like 3 minutes til 12:00 then when it ended it went back to 13 before.

I believe that scientist are predicting that the hydrogen that splits at the Sun's core to produce helium will take another 4 to 5 billion years to run out of supply. Until, then life on earth will probably go on. Well, human may not be here. But, there will be life after us.... there was life here for 100's of millions of years before us, right?

You can live with the thought that the world is going to end tomorrow or that it isn't going to end tomorrow it's your choice.

But even though you may think that it will end tomorrow you should plan for being a round for the long term.

If you don't plan for more tomorrows, you may end up with your own personal doomsday. (Health & money wise)

The way I learned it growing up it was when the U.S.A. and Russia push the button to send all the nuclear missiles at each other thus obliterating each other and taking out the rest of the world through radiation fallout and nuclear winters.
