My real estate agent gave me a company name, but they claim to not service that street. I've called 3 companies, and all say that it is one of the other two. Is there a website with a service map available so I can look it up?

I haven't moved in yet, so I don't know my neighbors. There are at least 10 gas companies in the metro area, and many don't have maps. Guess I'm going to keep calling.

Ask a neighbor who services your area and then call the gas company to verify. Your neighbors will know more then the real estate agent about local utilities.

Each gas company's website should show a service area map. Otherwise, just keep calling till you get someone nice who will actually help you instead of pawning you off on the other companies.

Just ask your next door neighbor!! And while your at it, take some "Home-made" cookies and introduce yourself, and tell her/him about all of your family members, and keep it short and simple, you know.... Otherwise, just look on Yahoo's Yellow pages for all the different types of Gas companies in your area.. and start calling them all !!! Good-Luck, to you!! Smile!!! You'll have gas in no time!!

Your front pages of your local phone book will tell you who services your area for telephone, and utilities.

Ask your neighbors who they do service with that should make it easier.
