I found an article about what I would consider the best possible candidate the Republicans could run to counter the current liberal trend in the Republican party.

Tancredo is the representative for parts of Colorado and I'd definitely vote for him over McCain, Rudy or any of the RINOS that seem to be the only thing the Republican party is throwing out there. Tancredo to form exploratory committee for presidential run

The only thing I know about him is his stance on the immigration issue and I do support him there. McCain is weak on that issue and I feel that is his biggest downfall.

I agree that his stand on certain issues is polar from the RINO collection currently out there making noise. Tancredo seems to be a stand up person that sticks to his beliefs, even when they aren't popular. If he's not wishy washy over major issues, and sticks to his guns, I'd vote for him.

Saw him on Oreilly last night. Seems like a heads up guy. Doesn't have a snowballs chance at the moment, but who knows? All Americans have the chance to run for and become President in our country. Its a risk we have to take!

I don't think so. He's seen as having wagered his fortune on the quest against illegal immigration. Not that he's wrong, mind you, but it is hardly the makings of a national office winner. I could be wrong.
