Is his ex wife stalking me?

Ok this has gone on 3 years, but I'll make it short as space here is limited. I am 34 my husband is 54. We lived together the last 2 and a half years and became married just this past Dec. His oldest son now 22 lived with us a short time and moved in with a girlfriend here in our town. His mom began harrassing me as soon as she learned my age 2 and a half years ago. She calls my family, my ex husband and his family. She threatens to call social services saying my husband is a molester if we don't give her our address and phone numbers. She has said she hired a private investigator to follow us. The son moved back to WA. in Aug. I cringe knowing she was less than 20 minutes from me, she didn't know our new address at the time we have moved 3 times to get away from her. She said in an email she would just pay to find out where we live and she did. I recieved certified mail telling me to get a job, and just insults to me. She mailed this reg. and cert to our po box and to the house. HELP

sounds crazy take out a retraining order on her. this is your husbands problem.

Dear Bevy,

You owe this woman no information at all unless she has custody of a minor child for whom your husband owes child support. Even then, there are limits and this poor pathetic woman has passed all of those limits.

Even though she is to be pitied, you cannot put up with this type of behavior indefinitely. Let her call Social Services. Perhaps, if she makes a false report about you, they will take a dim view of her behavior and prosecute her. They do not have the time to chase down lies.

Report her harassment to the police. A restraining order is great, but a peace bond is even better... make her pay money for bothering you.

PROSECUTE her when she steps over the line. There are very proactive things you can do to make her leave you alone. Emphasize to the police that you "fear for your very life" when you talk to them, or they will not take you seriously and you really DO need help. Show the e-mails, and letters to the police when you make the complaint.

You can make it as painful for her as she has made it for you. When you do, she will quit.

damn my husband has a four year old with another woman and that bit#h would never do any of that to me she knows better.I can't imagine a woman doing that to you when her son is 22 years old she has no business even communicating with you or your husband when the kid is that old...boy i can't wait for those days when i never have to see my husband's ex again....anyway sounds like a betty brodrick story to me husband leaves wife and marries younger woman the ex is insanly jealous of that women have this thing if you are left for a younger woman its twice as bad.Well throw away her sh#t when she mails it and i would call her up and tell her you are not afraid of her and she needs to move on with her life and if she continues to harrass you,you will get a retraining order if she is coming around you that is but i think you can also get one if someone is harassing you by phone or email or mail....oh well just play hardball right back and then leave it alone you certainly don't want to be fighting with her another three years from now,she needs to move one with her life she sounds pretty pathetic good luck

I dont know if it is stalking but it really is harrassment and you might want to get a lawyer and see what your options are in protecting yourself from this woman. What makes her say your husband is a molester???? Has he touched little kids? I would find out the history on your husband and look into it and if she is lying then do something about it but if there is truth to what she is saying then you had better get rid of the husband and get out and away from him and protect the kids from him.

Well for one if you was married to me and my ex wife was terorizing you I would call her and tell her to stop or else. But don't know why your loser husband hasn't done it yet. But the strange thing aboutit is that the cops not even the FBI won't do nothing about it. Maybe they think your bananas. But if Iw as you I would have a long talk with your husband and talk to him about it and ask him why he hasn't done nothing about it. Maybe he doesn't care I don't know but have a talk with him. Becasue I still can't see why she would mess with you and not the previous wife. You must be beautiful and she's ugly and she's jealous. No telling.

if thats not the definition to stalking i dont know what is!! go to the court house and get a restraining order, and call the cops when she breaks it. there is no reason you should have to live like that.

keep all documentation, get a restraining order, she is doing this because she is jealous, and wants her husband back. sort of obsessed with him and wants to hurt u.

Go to the cops ASAP, and tell them what you have told us. she is harassing you, as well as stalking you. she sounds pretty unhinged, so be careful.
