You are an intelligent beautiful woman. Unfortunately, most just think we won't punch them in their face, That being white means your weak. If i had a dollar for everytime I was told that I was like normal white people. It is a B.S. double standard supported by yuppies feeling White Guilt.

Good question.
To broaden it a bit, here in NC the legislature has the Black Caucus. We've had a bit of a spat about the House Speaker being unethical (allegedly) and the Democratic Black Caucus tried to get behind one candidate, who is black of course (as well as being a former Speaker). Now if there was a White Caucus do you think that would be acceptable? If not, why not? Anyone bleating on about Affirmative Action and equality in that situation misses the point that electing "minority" legislators means that they are already equal.
It will be interesting to see the responses to this one.

you can call anyone anything you want. its your consious that is telling you not too. do you think that two wrongs make a right? maybe as a white person i dont get as offended by being called names as someone else of another race. maybe i rise above those ignorant things. maybe i feel im a little bit better off than other people who call people names. you can form a white group but my question to that would be why? you would be alienating so many people from your life and your life would be smaller. i like to think that people who call others names because of their race are nothing but uneducated fools. and i dont want to be put in that catagory or be apart of a group that speaks like that.

I some how agree with you....If a white person calls a minority some name it's a big deal and a racist issue.. At the same time the minorities call all sorts of names at white people and other minorities. some minorities even call them selves "names" and they are proud of it. You can hear that on Rap tracks.Try calling that name at them...........you are racist also you might get punched out or more..... I think racism is a problem and it does exits, but it's a problem with double standards. It mostly exists towards white people. There are minorities who are more racists than the whites.

"The perpetuation of oppression" What's in a name? Racial slurs are meant for a sting....a person will spit out a slur when they don't have the self discipline or intellect to deal with low self esteem. But!!, even Governments don't want racism to go away, as this is how "The perpetuation of oppression works", people gather in tribes or teams and immediately develop names for their non tribal members. Men and women even do it, men are dogs, women are hoes and so on. Schools have all the names like Jocks vs Geeks or Nerds, Stoners vs Preppies etc. So, what's in a name?, call me anything you want, just don't call me late on payday! The WORLD is my tribe, where both good and bad people live. When I'm called out of my name...I don't respond, I know who I am and I know who the name caller is too. Ever heard of the saying, " you're showing your colors"?, when you blurt out a racial or opinionated slur....you ARE showing YOUR colors.

I am not racist, so usually do not use bad words against others, but I have used the N word in derogatory ways ,just not at blacks, just anyone who made me angry, white or whoever. Yes we need to stand up for our race, we are all created equal. While we all have a natural inborn issue to prefer our own race, we should fight that for the rights of others. I do not have racial issues.
I really dont care if they call me gringho or cracker,,who cares,,I have been asked what we call mexicans
lol, i told them, and they told me how they refer to us..
I would not join any racial group. but I would join a march against islam. I sure would. and keep in mind, they are all colors, just mostly happen to be brown, and its not about the brown, its about the inhumanity against everyone, and against those that really cant get out of it without the death threat !!

Maybe when you're called a cracker, you should react and respond as minorities do when they're offended. If everyone would throw a hissy fit everytime they couldn't handle a "word" thrown at them, we'd all be treated equally. It will get to the point where we all just talk like robots. Our individuality and our freedom of speech went out the window, thanx to the liberals.

Beats me, I just saw in Ms where blacks in one county, in charge at the voteing polls were throwing away the write in votes by whites and were being charge with disrimination and their only defense is " there has never been a history of this". Like this is ok because they've never been caught doing it before. You would think after all that history has taught us things would be different, but it seems things are only changeing color and the the defense of it is a silly and asinin as the reasoning before.

We talked about this in one of my college classes and we all cam to that same conclusion. We looked at statistics, however. For example, the average African American female earns more in the same job than does the Caucasian female. Th lawmakers don't help either, seeing as corporations "have" to diversify. We are not supposed to be looking at people based on their color or nationality, but the government keeps pushing it in our faces. "Don't think about race...but you have to hire certain people or you will be sued for discrimination..." I'm not bashing the government, but this is just one area.

Trash knows no color.
Trash uses nasty names for other races and thier own.
Don't be trash, be quality.
Quality does not really care what trash thinks.
Besides we would look silly.
It would be interesting to demand equal treatment from the ACLU
that could be a lot of fun!

Actually, Black people can't say whatever they want. If they do that, they run the risk of my fine white brothers stringing their a**ses up somewhere & then nothing really gets done about it the majority of the time. It's not even really considered a crime. White pow'er you know.
