Great question! Often wondered this myself! Guys know how they position their own shlong, but probably never wonder about other people's. Mine is always pointing down, but if you've ever looked at packets of briefs in a shop, the photo of the model often shows it pointing up, or at least it seems like that to me.

It depends. Just walking around, it would be difficult for me to keep it pointing up...so down.

i rest mine sideways, the head facing right. being 9" if i aim is down the head rubs against my clothing when i walk. if i aim it up, i find it's painful.
