Are those guys fakers?

I think those guys are a couple of lonely computer nerds. They had a compelling story that fell apart when the events they predicted didn't come to pass. I saw the videos the supposedly made and it looked totally fake. Although I have nothing against computer nerds (cause I'm one myself), these guys need to get a job and get laid.
