What a stupid holiday Valentine's day is. Don't you know it was made up by the card companies. So I guess the answer would be a meaningless card and crappy candy and flowers that will die the next day. The guys above me sound like wuss bags. What do I get out of pampering and cuddling and doing her work for the day? Do I get a day where she does the same in return? I propose that we as men start a new holiday called Steak and B.J. day. We get to drink all day and watch football while she makes us steak and gives us B.j's. Who's with me?

Go for a romantic gift. If a special guy comes with a dozen roses (or two ;-) I will been EXTREMELY flattered. You cannot wrong with a dozen red roses. You can also add chocolates. Or if the girl is watching her figure, go for a perfume (like Ralph Lauren Romance) or if you want to go all out, jewelry will not hurt, (maybe your wallet, lol).
For the final touch, DON'T forget to give her a postcard, and YES write something in it!!!
Hopes this helps ;-)

Romance, pure and simple. Plan a day for her that she would appreciate. You have to tailor make the day to her...so she knows that you really thought about it. Take her biggest passion in life (beside you and the kids) and make it happen. Something that when she goes into work the next day, or tells her friends, that they all gush and tell her how lucky she is to have a great guy like you.

My wife said she wanted a maid.
I said I will convert the garage into a room so we can have a live in maid, I then went browsing on the Internet for maid uniforms.

She withdrew the request and asked for dinner and concert tickets.

The man could get the local barbershoppers to sing to her. That's a great deal of positive attrention. Then, I suppose, flowers, a classy restaurant and then lovemaking to top it off, with special attention to her needs.

A real man. One that makes them feel they're worthy. What good can a rose, chocolates, or a diamond be when the rest of the time they make us feel second best?

Something very special and um! Yes, whatever you think would be special for her. Jewelry, Stuffed Animals, Dinner, and whatever you feel makes her happy.
