Looks like Orlando would be the closest airport to you that would fly non-stop. Jacksonville and Gainsville would both have to be connecting flights. You can alwasy get great deals out of Orlando anyway. I would think if you book well in advance you could probably find fares as low as around 200 or maybe high 100's if you are lucky.

The best way is to hop into your car, get on I-75, and in about 13 hours you're there. It is that simple. Get a driving buddy and take turns, and you'll get it done in a day, one night stay at the most. That will almost definitely be cheaper than flying more times than not.

Otherwise, try Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, and Priceline and try to find the best price. Good luck!

Driving down I-75 is your best bet. If you fly, go into Tampa. Gainesville is only 2 hours away, straight up 75.
