That's ridiculous. It allows readers to know what's going on in their world, the good and the bad. It expands their horizons, not limits them.

Depends on whether or not you're being investigated for something. I think freedom of the press actually helps keep people informed of the nefarious changes executive orders etc have on privacy or other things like the US Patriiot Acts one and two. Journalists let you know when governments, businesses, con men are out to ' take ' you or infringe on the public's rights as a whole, rather than an individual's rights. It's the public's right to know vs the individual's right to hide something or keep secrets especially if it affects the public moreso than it does an individual.

Of course it has and the more people are willing to pay for it, the more dirt the media will dig up on you. This is simply supply and demand. You want to know all the details and that's what they get it for you. So long as there are people out there who want to know, there will always be someone invading your privacy. Thank you.

The press is bound by rules specially when they can't give us the information on young offenders so we can protect ourselves from them.

FREEDOM,LIBERTY, LICENSE, ABUSE,, BLACK/[GREY]MAIL, ,EXTORT TERRORISE.. the morphing of the journo fm one to the other is becoming so secularly lucrative so incentivised, that criminalisation of police force in 20's looks a kindergarten affair.
the destruction of ethical society in the name of 'rights' fr animal, children women gays liberals, secularists with nothing but chaos ,left in its place,by hyped-up media,, and leaving the rich mobile corpses with ,- no roots, no direction, no confidence. no peace , no courage to look inwards is what so- called freedom of press given us.
setting itself above everyone and evrything , being prostituted by the top- dollar- payer, and wallowing floutingly, externally laughing,inwardly-digusted ,
hounding the likes of the late daughter-in law of the british queen.eradicating sense, sensitivity, sensibility is what the'freedoms degenerated to terrorism levels' ,has elevated the SOCIETY.
there was this strange instance in wonderland INDIA... A [millions of dollars worth]-,,SANDALWOOD SMUGGLER AND allegedKILLER OF PEOPLE while being searched fr- by three south indian states'police etc ,being easily contacted almost at will,,,by an editor of local magazine!
freedom of press insulating a kidnapper, from law and public ire, encouraging the killer- smuggler to intrude into private life of an ailing aged ex- matinee idol of south.
the press , milking the access to the smuggler in its circulation?!
freedom of press to destroy a religious faith by half truth, untruth, lies and damn lies,
destroying ancient fountains of wisdoms in the name of modernity only to replace compassionate religion with hard-hearted money -rich creature-comfortloving zombies who crumble at first sign of adversity and run to the bottle or drugs and crawl back to the denied religion!!!
the unbridled freedom leads to infringement of personal privacy and even result in destruction of individuals ,their families and thereby in ripple effect the societie affected by this contagion
