Poly cystic ovaries affect the majority of women these days, i know it can be frustrating not having a period but there are things to help the process of ovulating.
Being natural;
I advise the women i see to use Angus cactus which is a hormone balancing herb and has properties known to enhance fertility,
Run a warm bath add 4 drops of geranium essential oil, 2 drops of rose and 2 drops of Clary sage, these oils are known for hormone balancing and inducing periods.
Do this at least twice a week your partner can also use this.
Try doing something you really enjoy at least once a week so that your body has a chance to relax, stay out of stressful situations as this does not help your hormones.
Your weight can also play a big part i advise that you walk for an hour each day, not only will you keep fit but your lungs will take in fresh air and revive your body and well being, if you are smoker this certainly does not help so try and cut it out.
To prepare your body for a baby start using folic acid and use evening primrose oil capsules as this is also known for hormone balancing properties.
Least of all enjoy sex and stop thinking that this time you will get pregnant, keep your mind open and comfortable, before you sleep use an oil burner to burn lavender as this will totally relax you so then your whole body will become relaxed.

Hiya I've pcos too and I agree with what xxxxx says.
My periods were like yours ,very irregular + heavy + terrible cramps + lasting 2 weeks sometimes.
I've had clomid it didn't work but i was 2 1/2 stone over weight.
I decided to try and help my self .
I've now lost 2 stones, eating a healthy balanced diet consisting of fruit / vegetables / chicken / fish / lean meat and dairy and plenty of water.
I also exercise by biking and walking plus swimming.
I cut out alcohol and take a way foods and sugar.
My periods have got a lot more regular / lighter and now average of 6 days and the cramps are less painfull.
So for me the symtons have improved.
I'm also taking the folic acid tablets, and I'm considering the herbal methods xxxxx was sugesting.
A lot of stress can cause problems aswell so try and keep relaxed and enjoy life .
Keep thinking positive and think when and not if it happens.
GOOD LUCK HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU

hi i too have pcos i was diagnosed 5 yrs ago before you start the road of ivf go to the doctors who will refer you to the local hospital for various test i know there is tablet you can take called clomid this produces high quality eggs plus taken with metformin can produce good results as people that have pcos are a little over weight through no fault of their own as this is one of the symptoms of pcos metformin is a drug often given to people with diabetes again this drug has side effects but nothing major i can appreciate that this might be hard to do as you only have 2 or 3 periods a year and clomid is designed to take on day 2 to 6 of your period i hope this has helped you a little good luck with it all

First of all you need to start by treating your pcos. Like currently right now I was diagnosed with pcos and my doctor put me on metformin to start helping treating the pcos. I've been put on 500mg 4x a day. And I've had a period every month since september, before then i hadn't had a period for almost a year without medications. Then u may want to ask your doctor about which fertility drug might be right for you. Right now I'm on clomid 100mg. I've been on that for 2 months. this month I'm still waiting on my period. but nothing yet , but I'm hoping it's the something i want. GOOD LUCK!

IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.
My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Forerunners Healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Forerunners Healthcare. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
