Hey sweetie, just because you have a normal period doesnt mean your not pregnant, i had mine normal when i was.
Taking the test whilst on your period while not affect the levels of the certain hormones that the test looks for/detects.
Goodluck sweetie, hope it all goes to plan. email me and let me know if you get a chance.
If all else fails get a blood test from your doctor if your concerned about blood in your urine affecting the results.
Best wishes xoxoxo

Being on your period will not effect the results of the pregnancy test. Pregnancy test checks for "pregnancy hormone" only detectable by blood or urine. Women are known to have their periods while preg. Some lighter flow and some normal.
I hope the results returned as you had hoped. And if it was positive congrats on being a mommy!!!

No, it will not affect the results. Though, however, if you are having a period you shouldn't be pregnant, but it COULD happen. My good friend had her period normal her first 3 months of pregnancy. Good Luck on whatever you want to happen.

Your period will not affect the HPT. You can still take a pregnancy test on your period.
