You may want to read on the topic of the Gott Hypothesis. It basically, applies mathematics to how long life will be on the earth.

Your wording is a bit awkward, but I think I understand your question.

As long as earth exists, there will be life.

In about 5 million years the sun will run out of hydrogen to convert into helium and begin to die. During this process, the sun will swell enormously into a red giant that will swallow up Mercury, Venus, and most likely earth. Even if our planet isn't swallowed up, it will guaranteed be incinerated, and life will have ceased to exist.

But there is a chance that we may not even make it that far.

In about 200 thousand years, the galaxy Andromeda will collide with our Milky Way galaxy and merge. During this process, calamity not even the physicists can really understand will happen.

Our solar system may be lucky enough to survive, but it's more likely that old Sol and all of his little planets will be gobbled up by other stars or even thrust into one of the swirling super-massive black holes. Naturally, life won't survive either one of these possibilities.

Until the end of the world. My opinion, about 5 million years when the sun explodes (or expands, or whatever. Earth's toast.) Life will keep adapting as long as possible. I also think humans will hang out that long because we are adaptable...or at least, we'll adapt our environment to suit us.
