I just read this story in a magazine about a single mom who has just 1 child, a daughter and the daughter recently moved into her own place at the age of 24. The mom broke her wrist so the daughter moved back in to take care of her mom but then she left when the cast came off.
The mom missed her so she pretended that she hurt her back so that the daughter would come back to her. I wanna point out that the daughter wasn't like neglecting her, she was just moving on with her life, she still visited her mom and they spoke on the phone alot. Anyway, the story made me wanna ring my mom. But I'm at work now and I dont want everyone to hear me so I'll wait til after work.

Not yet, they're both at work. But I'll see them later anyway, I always take the kids round to Mum and Dad's on a Thursday.

No I need to call my mom today I havn't talked to her in a couple of days. My dad showed up unexpected yesterday and hung around for a couple of min.

Just have my 84 yr. old Mother left (she was 51 when I was born, no lie!!!!) OUCH!!! and if she's in a positive mood I call her every morning!! If she guilt-trips me, I skip a week!!! You Can Teach an Old Dog New Tricks!! @8-)
