If it were possible for everyone in this world to have a good standard of living, have a nice house a mercedes a big screen TV pool etc would you be happy with that or would you need to have much much more than everyone else before you could be happy?

I think that would be wonderful. I also think that it would free people from wordly worries and maybe they would have more time to be better people.

I don't need to have more than others, but if everyone on the planet lived like that we would exhaust all of earth's resources very fast and ruin the planet.

I want everyone to have a roof over their head, clothes to wear and easy access to food, clean water, healthcare and education. A bit of extra stuff to have fun with and make life easier would be cool too if everyone could have it, but stuff like private cars, big screen TV, swimming pools and such are really not necessary and I'd rather see less people have those things. It would generate less waste and pollution.

If we could ignore the environmental factors and it was possible for everyone to have those things without ruining the planet and using up resources, then I would not have a problem with everyone living like that if that is what they want.

HA that would be great! Right now, I've much much LESS than everyone else so I'd be happy having a nice lifestyle along with everyone else.

Sure, although I'd be happy if everyone had at least a reasonable standard of living i.e. food, shelter, medical care etc.

Having more or less than everyone else really doesn't enter into my "happiness equation".
