to raise money to send her grand daughter to Uni. Apart from ebay (which could be a long job) does anyone know of anyone who would be interested in purchasing them. They are womens suits, dresses and shoes all in very good condition and very good quality, but not current fashion. Thank you.

Hi!

Have you tried any local dress agencies?

They usually take your stuff, let you know what they'll put it on the rail for, then when it sells you get the money and they take their cut.

It's worked for me in the past, but you just have to be a little patient.

They could be advertised in the local paper, or if there's a dress agency in the area, they could be taken there. (One of those shops that sell second hand clothes, and when the garment/s are sold, they keep a percentage of the asking price, passing the rest to the contributor). Also a postcard placed in a number of local shops often yields customers. Good luck.

Depends how old.

There are shops that specialise in Vintage clothing, and also shops that will take well know designer labels.

Other than that you won't get much, try a local paper or a car boot
