I am having difficulty conceiving another child. My 1st took 5 months. I have been trying for no.2 for more than a year, with no success. Is my situation common? Please share similar experiences.

Depends on how long it is since you had your first. If one goes for the second one soon after the first, it may be very easy to conceive. But the longer it is since giving birth, the less the conceiving of the second has to do with the first. And of course, the older you get, the more difficult it gets. We started to try for a second about a year and a half after the first. It took another 2,5 years before the second was born. And yes, your situation is common...

i'd also like to appeal to close. I actually have 3 outstanding babies from a previous abusive courting and they were all surprises (unplanned). i'm now thankfully married to the guy of my desires and decide no longer some thing better than to have slightly one with him. after I became pregnant with each and each of my 3 youthful babies, all it regarded I had to do then became imagine about sex. Now, it truly is a lot harder. If in reality my dh and that i might want to properly be so fortunate as i became in the previous... sturdy success searching your answer. infant dirt to all!!

I've heard that. All the women I know about my age only have one, or they weren't planning the second so weren't trying anyway. But I have hearn that. I was wondering, too. My husband and I are probably going to start trying again later this year.

i dont know but i was with my husband for 2 years with no protection and after i had my son within 3 months i was pregnant with my daughter so i would have to say maybe the second was easier for me but everyone differs good luck to you !!!!

It was easier for me. I went off the pill for one month, and we were pregnant. I've heard that once you get pregnant, your body knows what to do the next time, so it's easier. Good luck.

go to the hospital for a check. it's supposed to be easier.
