Look at the numbers on the underside of the A/C adapter. Each should say something like:

17.2V
900ma

As long as they are the same, or pretty close, you should be ok. Given that they're both from the same manufacturer, you ought to be able to, but check anyway.

Are they the same model? A lot of times though the same power cord will fit several different models of laptops. At work we use HP Laptops and the past four models we have used have all used the same power cord. Plug it in and give it a try.

use the power cords that come with the laptop and dont try to interchange or you may end up with no laptop

Read on the power bricks, it will say what type of power it uses/sends in both Volts and Amps. If the two numbers match then yes, if not then there may be some issues.

if they fit, then yes. Different models sometimes used different power cord plugs.
