may sound silly....but can we take cough drops while pregnant??? i know tylenol is ok for headaches but how much? thanks!

thank you very much housemom....see at my docs office we always leave a message for the nurse who will call back just usually never right away unless its an emergency so i have to suffer in the mean time....but thanks for your answer!!! and the website!!

the doctor recommends robitusiom (sp) for cough/cold, they say its the safest for the baby, you can still follow the instructions on the bottle for how much tylenol.

Cough drops and Tylenol are both okay.

So for a minor question (but very valid one) such as this, don't waste your own time calling the doctor's office when we can answer your question! ; )

Cough drops are fine and you can take the recommended dose of tylenol. Also you can use any tylenol products including PM or cold.
