i have been trying to conceive for nearly ten months now. i am not worried as it can take time to conceive. I was speaking to a friend who had already had one baby and was trying to conceive her second but was having trouble. She said that she was advised all sorts but the thing that worked for her was monitoring vaginal discharge around time of ovulation. Apparantly around the time of ovulation you have a slight discharge. Your body produces a mucus in order to help the egg cling to the lining of the womb so this is a small change you can monitor. By monitoring this she was successful in conceiving her second and third child. Since trying for a baby i have noticed that my appetite increases when i am ovulating just like it does when I'm due on. Not saying this is a scientific fact just seems to happen to me x

I usually get a cramping pain on the left side or right side of my lower abdomen depending on which ovary is going to produce the egg. I sometimes experience some tiredness and back ache and some moodiness.

I get a period like pain when I'm ovulating, it's not necessary 14 days after your last period like what was suggested. I ovulate on day 11. I tried to get pregnant for two years by trying round about day 14, had nookie with my husband on day 11 and fell pregnant. Some girls ovulat as early as day eight. When you feel like you have abdominal pain between periods that's your egg being released. You usually have two days from the egg being released to it passing through you, so get doing 'it' between then.
