I don't normally post this sort of stuff but I had a close call today so I thought I'd warn others.
As I was walking into B&Q, a man in an orange jumpsuit asked me if I wanted decking......
fortunately I got the first punch in so I was Ok but others might not see it for what it is!!!

another scam warning... i was packing away my shopping in the supermarket car park when 2 young girls came up and started kissing and groping each other, as i looked on, another girl crept up and stole all my shopping. i was caught out by this last Monday, Tuesday and twice on Wednesday.

It is. I also got one before Christmas for $3,000 and I called the number and asked if it was a scam and they assured me that it wasn't. They told me that I needed to deposit it in my bank account and then call them and they would tell me what I needed to do after that. That the check was to cover some money conversion fees and that I had really won a large sum of money... I think it was $89,000. I told the man (it was a call to Canada) that I really needed the money and I really didn't have time for any scams. He is like, Oh no mam, this is not a scam. But I had my husband call his attorney brother about this, and he said that the moment I deposited the check, I would have become a felon. Because it is a scam. If you will notice on the check it is from one bank, but the postmark on the envelope is from another place and then the phone call is to another. It is not legit. I was really sad, because I really could use the money to pay off school loans and other medical bills. Oh well, better to be poor then to be caught up in junk scams.
