the uterus doesn't even start growing out of the pelvis until after 12 weeks gestation. if it's the first baby then it usually takes to the 5 th month to start to show. the baby doll, high waisted shirts will have desired effect.

I didn't want my employer to know about my pregnancy so I just wore loose fitted sweaters, etc. I'm five months along and just now people are starting to notice. She should have at least 4-5 months before anyone can really tell. If she's young, under 18 and lives with her parents they may notice a little faster but in this case she shouldn't hide it because there are important tests and doc appointments she needs to go to, otherwise the baby could be harmed.

Perfect time of year for that. Baggy sweaters would be good. Depending on her normal size, this might not be a problem. Most people will probably just think she is gaining a little weight. If she is big normally, it could be her 5th or 6th month before she even begins to show.
I know this because I am big and it was a long time before I started to show. Meant no harm.

If she just found out, I doubt she's far along. Most women wouldn't need to conceal until around at the earliest the 4th month. I would say just loose fitting shirts and maybe running pants or sweat pants. Most women can still wear jeans until like the 4th or 5th month too.

She should be more worried about prenatal care. She might as well tell now, it's not like no one's going to find out about . Now is the time to go see the doctor. Lack of proper prenatal care increases the chances of pregnancy complications for mom and baby.

If it is her 1st pregnancy, then she won't have to worry! I didn't start showing until I was well into my 2nd trimester. But I would invest in a good pair of maternity jeans...I needed them before I was really showing. And a sweat shirt can do wonders covering a baby bump.
